No problems. July 27, 2010 M. Emerson (Denver, Colorado) I bought these jeans to replace a pair of Red Label Levi's that I had for 2 years. I don't wear jeans very often, so I guess they don't make the Red Label jeans anymore. Anyway, I really like the fit of my old jeans and was looking to replicate that. I was a bit disappointed as the fit just isn't the same. Their not too big, but I need to constantly pull them up or take to wearing a belt cinched tight. Other than that, I like the fit, not too baggy, not too tight, just right. If it weren't for the awkward fit around the waist, they would have 5 stars.
Levi 514s look and feel great July 5, 2010 The Cardinal (Seattle, WA United States) I recently bought a pair of these. They are really comfortable and the fit is great. The fabric is light, but that makes it feel all the more comfortable. I did buy these during the summer, so the light fabric is great for now. It might be different in the winter.
You do need to be on the skinny side to wear these.
I was afraid that the 514s were going to be discontinued, so I bought a second pair.
Size inconsistency June 16, 2010 Ludwig Liu (Brooklyn, New York) Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RCATP4V3QXTSW I bought 2 31x32 514 slim straight jeans, one is sun fade and the other hitch hiker. As you can see on the video, you'll notice the difference in size between them. I initially wore the sun fade jean first and my thoughts were that this jean was a "slim" fit but when I tried the hitch hiker I then realized that this was a slimmer fit and you can immediately feel the difference. I felt that Sun fade was a bit "baggy" also. If I were you I would go a nearby Levi store and try it out before attempt buying it from the internet or just buy 2 size of the same color through amazon and return the one that doesn't fit your liking. These are very nice jeans btw!
Doesn't feel like real June 8, 2010 Boedi Arjanto (Singapore) I've bought some Levi's jeans over the years from authorized Levi's shops incl. couple of 501s, 508, and 511.
When I received the 514 - I bought from Amazon - I really thought that I was getting a fake Levi's jean. It's so light and thin compare to other Levi's I've.
I started to wear it today. It feels ok. But I'm still wondering if I'm really getting a cheap knock-of or the real things.

Perfect in every way. May 28, 2010 Scotty G I'm so glad Levi's still makes these jeans, otherwise I'd have to keep wearing my way-wornout pair even though they're now an inch too short from dozens and dozens of washings over the years. If you're tall and skinny, these are the perfect jeans.
